Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Be Healthy Psychological Services, you will be entrusted with several key responsibilities, including:

• Managing a caseload of youth clients, building rapport to develop effective therapeutic relationships while respecting professional boundaries and ethics.

• Conducting regular progress assessments and maintaining open communication with clients about their treatment journey, including discussing upcoming appointments and eventual discharges when appropriate.

• Designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans that are client-focused and adaptable to evolving needs.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment records for each client, to ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and tailor the approach for individual treatment.

• Facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques that align with client objectives.

• Engaging in regular individual supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share insights, and foster continuous professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily revolves around supporting youth clients facing diverse mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• A proven ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience in working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance use issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
