Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Starting Point, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of youth clients, fostering positive rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular meetings with clients to discuss their progress, stability, and to schedule upcoming appointments, ensuring a smooth discharge process when appropriate.

• Creating, implementing, and reviewing personalized treatment plans in accordance with each client's unique needs and circumstances.
\n
• Documenting clinical notes and maintaining comprehensive records of client interactions to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Performing thorough intake assessments that capture the essential history and needs of new clients.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions that focus on evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the client's needs.

• Engaging in regular individual supervision and team meetings to enhance clinical practice and share insights.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including other healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on youth clients, which requires a deep understanding of their unique challenges and mental health needs. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical settings.

Preferred Experience\n
