Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by developing strong rapport and maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress and ensure adherence to treatment plans while facilitating follow-ups and discharges as appropriate.

• Design, implement, and review individualized treatment plans that specifically address the needs and goals of each client.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to support ongoing care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
\n
• Perform initial intake assessments to evaluate client needs and develop appropriate care strategies.
\n
• Provide a minimum of one-on-one sessions each week, ensuring consistent support for each client's mental health journey.
\n
• Engage in individual supervision sessions to enhance professional development and refine therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care and optimize client outcomes.
\n
• Foster a mindset of growth and continued learning in all aspects of practice, staying updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically targets a youth demographic, focusing on the mental health challenges faced by adolescents and young adults. As a counselor, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through issues related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other psychological issues that are prevalent among younger populations. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the mental health and overall well-being of these clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Demonstrated ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in performing assessments, diagnoses, and leading both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records and basic keyboarding abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
