Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art surgical center located in Kingston, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations to understand individual patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians by considering each patient’s unique circumstances and pain management objectives.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and lifestyle interventions based on clinical assessments to maximize pain relief and functional improvement.
• Perform pain management procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, applying skills acquired through continuing education and with supervision as needed.
• Monitor patient progress by reviewing treatment efficacy and making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to uphold best practices and expand your knowledge in new pain management techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Stonebridge Pain Solutions, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population affected by various chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve understanding the psychological and physical components of pain and addressing each patient's specific needs through a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of New York.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant by a nationally recognized certifying body.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make clinical decisions autonomously or collaboratively as needed.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in pain management or a closely related medical field, demonstrating a strong understanding of chronic pain treatment methodologies.
• Experience with pain management procedures, showcasing skill in performing advanced therapeutic techniques, and contributing to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Stonebridge Pain Solutions offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
