Work Environment

This role will be performed in a traditional clinic setting, where you will be immersed in an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. You will work directly with our staff in providing quality patient care, engaging with patients face-to-face, and utilizing advanced medical equipment and technologies to assess and treat their conditions. Your schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments by obtaining detailed medical histories and executing comprehensive physical examinations of patients referred by supervising physicians.
• Manage follow-up visits independently following established Incident II guidelines, ensuring ongoing evaluation of patient health and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, verifying all information during appointments for continuity of care.
• Analyze diagnostic test results to identify the necessity for additional follow-ups and devise tailored treatment plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure alignment with patient needs.
• Develop and implement medical care plans under the supervision of a physician, including recommending actionable treatment options and regularly reassessing patients’ medical requirements and responses to therapies.
• Deliver high-quality care that meets both patient expectations and company productivity metrics, ensuring that all care delivered aligns with organizational standards.
• Serve as a trusted resource for patients by providing educational insights, ongoing care instructions, and emotional support to help them navigate their treatment journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at the Pain Management Center is to serve individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population may include those recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain disorders such as fibromyalgia or arthritis, and those in need of rehabilitation services. Our commitment is to equip each patient with the tools and support necessary to manage their pain effectively and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner from an accredited academic program.
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York state is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or conducting physical examinations is essential.
• Exceptional clinical expertise, strong interpersonal communication abilities, and effective organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Practice Management systems is preferred, alongside skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with specialized training or certifications related to pain management techniques, physical examinations, or who have experience in a fast-paced clinical environment will be prioritized. Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting patient needs and scenarios is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
