Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate client histories and create personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, emphasizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where clients can process their experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and engage in healing practices.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention support during emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance to clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their family members on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the available community resources necessary for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation as per legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population affected by various forms of trauma, including PTSD and complex trauma. Our clients often face significant challenges navigating their mental health journeys, and your role as a therapist will be essential in providing them with the tools and support they need for healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, and effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach when dealing with clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideally, candidates should possess direct experience in trauma therapy techniques and an understanding of the unique needs of trauma survivors. Previous work in outpatient settings offering telehealth services will be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
