Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to address various mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to create and enhance comprehensive care plans that meet clients' unique needs.

• Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation, using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to record session notes and treatment progress meticulously.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies and follow-up plans, proactively engaging clients in their recovery journey.

• Represent Better Way Behavioral Health at community events and workshops, helping to strengthen our presence and promote awareness of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Better Way Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with diverse populations, including individuals of all ages facing mental health challenges. You will provide culturally competent care, understanding the significance of social determinants in mental health, and helping clients overcome barriers to accessing the support they need.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse therapeutic cases effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
