Position Overview

TruSolutions Therapy Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is integral to our mission of empowering patients through personalized therapy services delivered in the comfort of their homes. Our Physical Therapist will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and apply various therapeutic techniques to support patients in managing their physical health effectively.

Work Environment

This position is primarily based onsite in a home care setting, allowing clinicians to foster close relationships with patients and their families. Work hours typically include afternoon and early evening shifts, from Monday to Thursday 3 PM to 7 PM and Fridays for a 4-hour day shift, accommodating both patient and therapist schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, and develop tailored treatment plans that address their needs.
• Implement various physical therapy modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols, exercises, and injury prevention methods.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff, to optimize patient care and communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Supervise the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, Aides, and students, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Continuously seek professional development opportunities, including attending workshops and training sessions, to stay current with industry trends and practices.
• Actively engage in marketing and outreach efforts to enhance the visibility and referral base of our physical therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Home Care Physical Therapist, you will work with a wide array of client demographics, focusing on neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. This diverse patient population allows you to apply a broad range of clinical skills and adapt therapy approaches to meet unique individual needs, promoting health and functional independence in their everyday lives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher-level qualification such as a Master's or DPT from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on home care or outpatient therapy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ability to work independently and exhibit strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with medically complex patients or those with chronic conditions, including strategies for pain management and functional rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation technologies and equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and a passion for teaching and mentoring.

Compensation and Benefits

We believe in rewarding our employees fairly and offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
