Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our outpatient treatment center, you will deliver evidence-based and holistic mental health services for young adults aged 18 to 30 enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging group sessions that offer clients a safe space to share experiences, foster connections, and learn from one another.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Offer personalized, empathetic counseling to help clients explore their thoughts and emotions, encouraging the development of effective coping strategies.

• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure efficacy.

• Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with fellow team members regularly to ensure coordinated care for clients, consulting on complex cases to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with young adults struggling with various mental health challenges. Our PHP is designed to offer intensive support, focusing on sustainable recovery and personal growth. You will provide guidance to clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, all while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes healing and connection.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to ensure effective support of our clients:

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n
