Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized treatment plans by conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of each client’s needs, challenges, and goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups by utilizing evidence-based practices, specifically cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with legal requirements and ethical guidelines, ensuring the integrity of client information.

• Participate actively in regular team meetings and case consultations to contribute to comprehensive client care strategies and improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship issues, and trauma. Your expertise will support individuals seeking counseling to improve their quality of life and resolve specific issues ranging from workplace conflicts to personal crises.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is essential.

• Capability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals facing substance use issues is necessary.
