Special Education Teacher

Siri Healthcare Services Inc

Dearborn, MI

SCI/SXI ( Severe Cognitive Impairment / Severe Multiple Impairment )

Sped needed Caseload - 12-15 students

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals.

Provide differentiated instruction based on individual learning needs.

Collect and document progress monitoring data.

Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families.

Maintain compliance with IDEA and district special education requirements.

Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Requirements:

Valid Michigan Special Education certification.

Cognitive Impairment (SA or CI) endorsement required.

Previous experience working with students with cognitive impairments preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
