Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, with a focus on understanding the unique needs and histories of clients, including assessments related to criminal and substance abuse backgrounds.

• Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, adeptly managing therapy sessions that may occur in challenging environments, ensuring client safety and engagement.
\n
• Collaborate closely with medical personnel and support staff to establish accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans for a variety of psychiatric disorders.

• Prepare detailed clinical reports, develop and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, and provide consultations on complex and challenging casework.

• Actively engage in communication with care teams, consistently offering insight and recommendations to collaboratively improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with a diverse range of clients, including children, teens, adults, and couples. You will be instrumental in guiding individuals through emotional challenges, relationship issues, and transitional periods in their lives. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Licensed Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) is required.

• An active LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, valid and in good standing.

• At least 3 years of paid experience providing direct patient care as an LPCC within any public or private institution.

• Expertise in diagnostic evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans that cater to each client's needs.

• Proficient in the delivery of individual and group therapy sessions, demonstrating a strong capacity for therapeutic engagement.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
