Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of students and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, focusing on practical strategies and coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and educational psychologists, to support students' emotional and mental well-being.

• Provide guidance and psychoeducation to students and their families, helping them understand mental health issues and promoting active participation in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatment progress and interventions in adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse student population, including those coping with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and their application in school settings.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a multidisciplinary team.
