Senior Executive, Brand Partnerships (remote)

The Opportunity

The 2045 Collective operates at the intersection of media, technology, and strategy. We work with agencies and brands across Canada and the US, and we are growing. We are looking for a Senior Executive, Business Development to be the commercial force behind that growth.

This is a new-business role for a proven hunter. You have a portable network of agency and brand relationships and a track record of converting large, complex accounts. You know the advertising industry from the inside, independent agencies, brands, D2C, eCommerce & holding companies (where applicable) and you can sit across from a CMO or agency lead and close strategic partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Own new client acquisition across the US, with clear accountability for pipeline, revenue targets, and close rates.
• Activate your existing network from day one, independent agencies, senior brand-side stakeholders and agency holding companies.
• Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close, partnering with strategy and trading to shape the right solution.
• Negotiate commercial terms and scopes of work alongside leadership, structuring deals that are ambitious and sustainable.
• Represent The 2045 Collective in the market as a credible voice on paid media (across search, social, programmatic and retail), omnichannel strategy, CTV, and ad tech.
• Feed market and category intelligence back into the business to sharpen our offering and go-to-market.

What You Bring

• 6-8 years in agency business development, strategic sales, or commercial roles within media, advertising, or ad tech.
• A portable network of agency and brand relationships you can activate immediately - this is non-negotiable.
• A documented track record of winning and growing large accounts.
• Deep fluency in the media ecosystem: Google, Facebook & other Social, DSPs, CTV, retail media, data partnerships, and how buyers at every level actually make decisions.
• The credibility and presence to influence C-suite and senior agency stakeholders.
• Strong commercial instincts: pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, and contract fluency.
• A builder’s mindset — comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.
