Atlantic Academy, RTC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote role at our Detox Center. This position is integral in providing high-quality mental health support aimed at fostering recovery and wellness among our diverse client population. Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote setting, allowing flexibility while still promoting a strong sense of team cohesion. Our full-time employees work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting a balanced professional life and encouraging continued professional development. The Detox Center environment requires an understanding and empathetic approach, with a focus on creating supportive connections with clients undergoing significant life changes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Serve as a liaison between clients, their families, and outpatient providers, ensuring comprehensive care and support.

• Engage with insurance companies to facilitate pre-certification and manage utilization effectively, helping streamline access to necessary services.
\n
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure a smooth transition for clients exiting the Detox Center, including outlining necessary follow-up services.
\n
• Provide therapeutic meal support by modeling and encouraging healthier relationships with food, integrating nutrition counseling into therapy sessions.
\n
• Deliver safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, particularly in relation to their intersecting identities.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans thoroughly, adhering to best practices and compliance standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients facing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Our client population is diverse, encompassing varying ages and backgrounds, necessitating an understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of California is required.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
