This position primarily focuses on providing mental health services through telehealth, enabling counselors to deliver crucial support from a remote setting while catering to a diverse client population.

Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing our Licensed Mental Health Counselors to work from the comfort of their homes while utilizing our state-of-the-art telehealth platform. This environment not only offers flexibility but also supports a work-life balance that enables our counselors to connect meaningfully with their clients. As a fun fact, Owensboro lets you work with clients across various states, and for those licensed counselors currently licensed in another state, we cover the transition costs, making it easier for you to join our mission.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create tailored treatment plans to meet individual client needs.
\n
• Actively engage in crisis intervention by developing pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments.
\n
• Complete and submit documentation punctually, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory standards.
\n
• Implement evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic modalities as recommended by the clinical team.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish and execute positive behavior support plans tailored to each client.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with state agencies, community partners, and other relevant service systems.
\n
• Take initiative in enhancing personal and professional skills through attending conferences and engaging in team-based learning experiences.
\n
• Actively contribute to the clinic’s mission and philosophy by promoting well-being and recovery in the community.
\n
• Participate in accreditations, licensing processes, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
\n
• Perform other administrative and clinical duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary role will involve working with individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Clients may also include those with developmental disabilities and individuals seeking rehabilitation following acquired brain injuries. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Owensboro, you will play a crucial role in empowering your clients to overcome barriers to their mental health, paving the way for them to achieve their personal wellness and recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required.

• An active, independent LMHC license to practice in Massachusetts is necessary to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a clinical counseling setting, focusing on individual and group therapy.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
