This critical care role is ideal for an RN with a specialty in intensive care, ready to work in a dynamic hospital environment. As an ICU RN, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, working with advanced medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities of the ICU RN

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Arterial line and central line care/management
• Continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
• BiPAP/CPAP and care of ventilated patients
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and suctioning
• Adhering to isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Requirements of the ICU RN

• New York RN license in hand
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• At least 2 years of recent ICU experience
• No background or license hits
