This position offers a remote work setting with the flexibility to engage with clients through our outpatient office in Carlsbad. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and initial evaluations of patients to determine their mental and emotional needs.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that include therapy modalities tailored to the unique background and experiences of each patient.

• Providing ongoing psychotherapy to individuals coping with trauma-related issues while equipping them with coping strategies and healing techniques.

• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.

• Offering educational resources to patients and their families about trauma, mental health coping strategies, and community resources.

• Collaborating with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to coordinate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Participating in professional development activities to uphold your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed on the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will specifically work with a diverse group of patients affected by trauma, including those recovering from acute incidents, chronic stressors, and emotional distress. A key focus will be on facilitating recovery pathways for clients who may have encountered barriers in accessing traditional mental health services, ensuring they receive the comprehensive support necessary for healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
\n
• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license issued in California.
\n
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience working with trauma patients in a mental health counseling capacity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with Salesforce and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices will be considered a significant advantage. This expertise will allow for a more integrated approach to patient management within our organizational framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n
