Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical conditions, functional abilities, and overall rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing individual patient goals, ensuring progress is closely monitored and adjustments made as necessary.
• Administer hands-on therapy, which includes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, effective injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery.
• Document patient progress accurately, maintaining up-to-date medical records that comply with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and nurses—to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and incorporate these innovations into patient care for improved outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your empathy and skill will be crucial in motivating and guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, ensuring their comfort and confidence as they regain their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution required; a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in physical therapy, demonstrating expertise in various therapeutic techniques.
• Proven clinical skills and the ability to assess and evaluate diverse treatment methods for different patient needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
