Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

The Research Support Specialist will assist the lab under the direction of the PI to perform duties including but not limited to working with bacterial and eukaryotic cell cultures, perform recombinant DNA experiments, perform virus neutralization tests, and work with a mouse colony. Additional research-related duties and responsibilities such as cleaning and organizing laboratory work space and equipment as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in biological science or relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with cell cultures and molecular biology. Possess prior training in studying antibody-mediated neutralization of microorganisms. A willingness to work with animal models.

Work Days:

M-F 9a-5pm Some evening and weekend hours may be required if necessary for timed research protocols.
