Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our outpatient office located in Morristown, where you will collaborate closely with a supportive team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to gain insights into their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and create effective, personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Teach patients proper therapeutic exercise techniques, helping them develop the skills necessary for self-management of their rehabilitation.
• Administer hands-on treatments, including massage and stimulation therapies, to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Guide and assist patients in using mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they feel confident and secure during their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, tracking progress and setting achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families on recommended at-home treatment options and exercises to reinforce therapy outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Active Stride Clinic caters to a diverse patient base, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, age-related conditions, and those experiencing chronic pain. You will work with patients ranging from children to older adults, allowing for a rich and varied experience that enhances your therapeutic skills and professional development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• A commitment to flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing patient needs and schedules.

Preferred Experience
