Work Environment

This role will operate onsite, allowing for direct interaction with both patients and healthcare colleagues. The atmosphere is team-oriented, promoting professional collaboration among physical therapists and support staff. Available resources include advanced therapeutic tools and the latest evidence-based techniques to ensure patient success. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a structured routine that allows for significant patient engagement while providing work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility and functionality.
• Provide one-on-one sessions with a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused, high-quality care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques alongside exercise protocols to expedite recovery and improve patients' quality of movement.
• Develop tailored wellness programs to encourage healthy lifestyle choices, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor patient progress and results, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure compliance and proper record-keeping.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care for complex cases.

As a Physical Therapist at Bon Secours, you will primarily engage with orthopedic patients who are recovering from injuries, surgery, or chronic conditions impacting their movement. These individuals may range from athletes seeking rehabilitation post-injury to older adults focused on maintaining mobility and independence. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An exemplary professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise prescription.
• Competence in utilizing EMR software, specifically familiar with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing integrated care plans and using advanced rehabilitation technologies.
• Comfortable engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork to optimize patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive yearly salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
