We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic Outpatient practice in Morristown, New Jersey. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Morristown, NJ, our outpatient office provides a welcoming and collaborative environment for both patients and staff. As a member of our team, you will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant, all in a facility equipped with advanced treatment technologies and therapeutic modalities. This onsite role adheres to a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to establish accurate objectives and treatment goals.
• Effectively manage treatment sessions with a workload of one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, individualized attention.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to design comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Implement cost-effective interventions aimed at improving mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Encourage and guide patients in wellness and fitness programs tailored to enhance their overall well-being.
• Monitor treatment progress and adapt care strategies as needed, maintaining clear communication with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans using EMR software systems, such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, including those following surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain issues. Our focus on individual capabilities and goals ensures that each patient receives tailored care to meet their rehabilitation needs effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions or board measures against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing and implementing customized exercise regimens for diverse patient populations.
• Ability to navigate and utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience, preferably three years or more, in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Evidence of continuing education in specialized areas relevant to orthopedic therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
