Work Environment

This role is based onsite within our outpatient office, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where therapists and patients interact closely. You will work alongside a team of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), allowing for a shared knowledge base and the opportunity to grow professionally. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient delivery of care without compromising quality.
• Implement various treatment techniques and adapt fitness and wellness programs to meet the unique requirements of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals while improving strength, mobility, and overall functional abilities.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, optimized patient care and progress monitoring.
• Assess the effectiveness of treatment plans regularly, making necessary adjustments to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient services and care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, primarily those covered by private medical insurance, allowing for a personalized approach to care. You will engage with diverse cases ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to sports injuries, ensuring that each patient receives the attention needed for a successful recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board infractions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in implementing manual therapy techniques and skilled in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient management processes.

Compensation and Benefits
