Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This full-time position will leverage your expertise in orthopedic care to enhance our patients' journey towards restoring mobility and functional independence. As a core member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on therapeutic care in a dynamic and supportive setting, focusing on maximizing patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in Morristown, NJ, where you will work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, dedicated to patient sessions and administrative duties within our outpatient facility. The supportive environment encourages professional development, collaboration, and continuous learning, allowing you to thrive as you address the complex needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient goals and develop personalized treatment plans that focus on rehabilitation and improving mobility.
• Manage an efficient patient load of one client per hour, delivering individualized care to maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy and specialized exercise regimens.
• Educate patients on program plans, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to cultivate self-management and prevent future injuries.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, utilizing WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients in their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and empowering therapeutic environment.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure the highest standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing sports injuries, or overcoming musculoskeletal disorders. You will serve a diverse clientele, providing targeted therapies to enhance strength, flexibility, and quality of life. The commitment to personalized care and patient education will be central to your role as you help clients regain their independence and return to their favorite activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with a clean record free of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Thorough understanding and experience in manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient in developing, conducting, and modifying individualized exercise regimens for diverse patient needs.
• Experience using EMR software platforms, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability in patient motivation, education, and fostering collaborative treatment plans.
• Strong competencies in diverse treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques tailored to individual needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Oro Valle Motion Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
