The Agile Strength Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Morristown, New Jersey. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services directly in clients' homes, ensuring maximum convenience and flexibility for our patients.

Work Environment

This role is exclusively onsite, primarily focused on home care. The Certified Physical Therapist will travel to various patient homes within the Morristown area, providing tailored therapy in a comforting and familiar environment. You'll work as part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, flexibility, and support, enabling us to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand symptoms thoroughly.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the diagnosis of movement dysfunction, and monitor progress throughout the therapy journey.
• Educate patients on effective therapeutic exercises and techniques to enhance recovery and prevent further injury.
• Implement hands-on techniques, including massage and mobilization, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients in using necessary rehabilitation equipment such as walkers or wheelchairs, ensuring proper usage and safety.
• Maintain detailed patient records, tracking treatment goals, progress notes, and patient feedback to adjust therapy as needed.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families regarding home-based exercises and in-home treatment options, enhancing the therapeutic impact outside the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes children and adults experiencing various physical challenges, from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. The therapist will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for patients who may have limited access to traditional therapy settings, allowing them to receive personalized care within their own homes.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Possession of a current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and collaborate with patients and their families.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient data and progress tracking.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the varying needs of patients in a home care setting.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or home care environment.
• Familiarity with providing telehealth services is a plus.
• Experience working with a broad patient demographic is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
