Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. is a dynamic, PT-owned practice that specializes in delivering high-quality physical therapy primarily to individuals with private medical insurance. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to cater specifically to sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. As a part of our dedicated team, which currently includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will collaborate to deliver exceptional care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Work Environment

This full-time position is on-site, providing face-to-face interaction with patients in a home care setting. Our practice is characterized by a supportive and collegial atmosphere, where teamwork and cooperation are integral to our success. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while meeting patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and treatment requirements.
• Manage and track patient caseloads, seeing one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that may incorporate various treatment techniques and modalities.
• Provide evidence-based treatment options that effectively enhance patients' ranges of motion and mobility.
• Facilitate alternative therapies to minimize reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and educate patients to adopt healthier lifestyle choices while improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, ensuring clear communication and maintaining thorough documentation of care services rendered.
• Engage in collaboration and consultative practices with other healthcare professionals to guarantee holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse population, tailoring your approach to individuals seeking to regain their functional independence and improve their daily lives. Your interventions will strive not only to address immediate physical needs but also to foster long-term improvements in health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary action regarding your PT license, with a clean professional record.
• Strong competencies in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating familiarity with treatment protocols specific to this environment.
• Proven track record of developing and executing individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• A history of successful collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits.
