Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, as you will be providing home care to patients in the Morristown area. The role demands flexibility, as you will be expected to adapt to varying patient environments and needs while maintaining professional standards. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations due to orthopedic conditions, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans.
• Provide expertise and consultation to multidisciplinary healthcare teams about patients' continuum of care, enhancing collaborative efforts in treatment.
• Facilitate effective communication strategies with patients of all ages and backgrounds, adhering to the highest standards of customer service.
• Implement treatment plans, perform regular re-evaluations, and educate patients and their families on techniques to promote recovery and pain management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and discharge plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and professional standards.
• Participate in community outreach programs, quality improvement initiatives, and marketing efforts aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient engagement.
• Attend ongoing staff meetings and contribute to training programs, enhancing personal expertise and team performance.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, optimizing resources and the quality of care delivered to patients.
• Regularly communicate with referring physicians about treatment progress and make necessary adjustments in treatment plans as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing a range of orthopedic disorders, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
