Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Morristown rehabilitation center, where you will work closely with a small team of professionals, including two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our collaborative environment fosters teamwork and encourages continuous learning and development. The work schedule consists of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and meet the objectives and individual needs of each patient through detailed assessments and evaluations.
• Manage a caseload that allows for quality, individualized attention, with an emphasis on one patient per hour to ensure thorough care.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions and treatments that focus on improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop effective and affordable therapeutic plans while minimizing the need for pain medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient, enhancing their functional abilities.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting all services and treatments provided to facilitate ongoing evaluation and support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and develop a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, encouraging and motivating them to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Focus on lifestyle enhancements that improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.
• Utilize EMR software, such as WebPT, to document and track patient records efficiently, ensuring a streamlined process for therapist and patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Lifestyle Motion, we mainly cater to patients with orthopedic conditions who are looking to restore function and alleviate pain. Our clientele comprises individuals covered by private insurance, including active adults, athletes, and anyone in need of specialized rehabilitation programs. You will be at the forefront of facilitating rehabilitation for those recovering from injury, surgery, or chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, free of any board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise-based rehabilitation programs.
• Experience utilizing EMR Software, specifically WebPT, to enhance administrative efficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a physical therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Experience collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to create patient-centric treatment plans.
• Proven ability to motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
