Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which features advanced therapeutic equipment and a friendly atmosphere that fosters healing. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured yet dynamic environment for both our staff and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of 2-3 individuals per hour, focusing on delivering tailored therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize your manual therapy skills to perform specialized techniques aimed at pain reduction and improving mobility.
• Educate patients on exercises and lifestyle modifications to optimize their recovery and minimize dependency on medications or invasive procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, aligning treatment goals across disciplines.
• Monitor and record the progress of patients, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient feedback.
• Inspire and motivate patients, fostering a positive mindset towards their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, patients with post-surgical conditions, and those experiencing chronic pain. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these patients towards improved functionality, helping them achieve their personal health and fitness goals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist License in the state of New Jersey.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in applying physical modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality care through a patient-centered approach.
• Capable of fostering a therapeutic relationship with patients that promotes trust and motivation.

Compensation and Benefits
