SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Morristown, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will work closely with our patients to facilitate their recovery and help them achieve optimal mobility and functionality. SpringLeaf Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a premier rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing high-quality physical therapy services. Located in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility, we specialize in orthopedic outpatient care and pride ourselves on a patient-centered approach. Our compassionate team, which includes two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), collaborates to give patients the attention and tailored care they deserve. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that our services are accessible and effective.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center, you will work onsite in a modern facility equipped with the latest technology and resources to support your efforts in patient care. The work schedule is structured for Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals.
• Manage and treat one patient per hour, ensuring that each session is effective and tailored to maximize patient outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapies and therapeutic exercises, to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies accordingly, documenting all treatment activities and outcomes comprehensively.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive measures to promote long-term health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals as necessary to optimize overall patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to promote adherence to treatment plans and improve functional abilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility. You'll engage with a diverse patient population, each with unique challenges and goals. By fostering strong relationships with patients, you will play a key role in their recovery and rehabilitation process, helping them transition back to their active lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions against your license.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation and a firm understanding of anatomy and movement science.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally familiar with EMR systems such as WebPT.
• Demonstrated skill in manual therapy techniques and developing comprehensive exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring understanding and involvement in the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits
