Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. Work Environment

The role will be conducted onsite, allowing the Physical Therapist to engage directly with patients in a collaborative environment. You will be part of a proficient team consisting of two fellow physical therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), fostering a supportive community where shared knowledge and patient outcomes are prioritized. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify patients' physical capabilities and limitations, developing tailored treatment plans that meet individual needs.
• Manage a schedule of one patient per hour, focusing on delivering personalized, quality therapy that addresses each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to facilitate movement and enhance mobility.
• Document all treatments and patient progress in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines, ensuring accurate record-keeping for continued care.
• Encourage and guide patients through their rehabilitation process while motivating them to achieve their highest functional abilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through an integrated approach to treatment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary client population consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, joint replacements, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
• Current certification and licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics relevant to physical therapy practice.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care and manage information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to execute effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and the ability to customize exercise programs based on patient evaluation.
• Experience collaborating with other healthcare professionals, emphasizing teamwork in delivering patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
