We are seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our expanding team at Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center, located in Morristown, New Jersey. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will be engaged in multifaceted aspects of patient care including promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, maximizing their quality of life and overall movement potential.

Pardise Mind Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art facility that occupies 5,000 square feet, creating a nurturing environment for rehabilitation and wellness. Situated prominently in Morristown, our center specializes in orthopedic outpatient care, catering primarily to patients with private medical insurance. Our committed team consists of two licensed physical therapists and a skilled physical therapist assistant (PTA), all of whom share a common goal: to deliver exceptional care and support to those requiring physical therapy interventions.

Work Environment

Our facility offers a comfortable, energetic atmosphere where innovation meets clinical excellence. As an onsite team member, you will work closely with fellow therapists in our well-equipped sports medicine facility, making the most out of advanced treatment methodologies and therapeutic technologies. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life routine. Additionally, you will be situated in the beautiful surroundings of Morristown, NJ, which provides a vibrant community for both professional and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify patients' needs and determine effective treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs using a variety of treatment techniques to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, aiming for one-on-one patient sessions that maximize quality of care.
• Evaluate patients' progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain thorough electronic medical records (EMR).
• Educate clients on exercises and daily living techniques that support recovery and maintenance of health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary demographic consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients typically come to us seeking effective rehabilitation techniques that minimize reliance on medications and circumvent surgical interventions. You will work closely with these individuals, understanding their unique needs and motivating them through personalized treatment journeys that focus on regaining strength, flexibility, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record, free of board actions or disciplinary measures regarding the professional license.
• Proficiency in evidence-based care, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in orthopedic outpatient environments.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring you are well-cared for as you care for others.
