Work Environment

This role is based in our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technologies to aid in the rehabilitation process. You will enjoy a comfortable, collaborative setting, with operational hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions to establish individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, modalities, therapeutic exercises, and education to enhance patients' movement and function.
• Collaborate with patients to set achievable milestones, ensuring that they stay motivated and engaged in their recovery process.
• Develop and implement wellness-oriented programs to promote long-term health and prevent injury recurrence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering to best practices in clinical record keeping.
• Communicate and consult effectively with interdisciplinary health care teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on health awareness, exercise regimens, and lifestyle changes that contribute to overall wellness.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor treatment effectiveness, making necessary adjustments to care plans based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical interventions, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility. Your approach will be tailored to the individual needs of each patient, focusing on their unique challenges and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy, including experience in treating musculoskeletal injuries.
• Outstanding communication skills that allow you to engage effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to patient management, addressing various personality types and adapting your strategies accordingly.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A proven track record in delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
• Familiarity with modern therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies relevant to the orthopedic setting.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, dependent on experience, along with potential bonuses. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
