Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, leading to effective treatment planning tailored to individual challenges and goals.

• Facilitate therapeutic counseling sessions utilizing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches, ensuring a dynamic and responsive treatment experience.

• Coordinate care by collaborating with community resources including schools, healthcare providers, and social services, particularly for clients who may also be receiving services in institutional settings.

• Implement referral processes for necessary external resources based on client assessments to address broader community and familial needs.

• Engage families in the therapeutic process to cultivate enhanced communication and understanding pertaining to mental health, aiding both clients and their loved ones.

• Assist in specialized programs addressing substance abuse and trauma, thereby expanding in-house services offered to support comprehensive client recovery.

• Provide ongoing education and resources to clients and their families, fostering adherence to treatment recommendations and encouraging proactive participation in their mental health journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will cater to a diverse clientele, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health conditions. The therapist will work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, ensuring that each interaction is guided by a commitment to understanding and compassion.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline from an accredited institution.

• MUST possess a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Minimum of two years of experience in providing individual and group counseling services within a mental health setting.
