Work Environment\n

Our work setting is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while still fostering a close-knit team dynamic. As part of a community health clinic, you will engage with a diverse population of young adults aged 18 to 30. Our virtual environment is equipped with the latest telehealth technologies ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for both therapists and clients. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, with no required evenings or weekends, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Sunny Square, you will have the responsibility to:

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Conduct supportive group sessions where clients can share experiences, build relationships, and learn from each other.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer personalized and empathetic counseling to help clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing actionable coping strategies.

• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans addressing their unique needs and preferences.

• Monitor Progress: Assess and document client progress and outcomes, utilizing various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team: Interact regularly with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing mental health challenges within our outpatient treatment programs. Our focus is on reducing stigma, fostering understanding, and providing effective support to help these individuals navigate their mental health journeys effectively and compassionately.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• Demonstrated commitment to mental health treatment and counseling best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

We value candidates with experience in mental health treatment, especially those who have worked with young adults or in community health settings. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Sunny Square offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
