Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your clinical practice.

• Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and participation in the therapeutic process.

• Track and document client progress diligently, ensuring treatment plans are adjusted based on feedback and ongoing evaluations of effectiveness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and address the comprehensive needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and stress-related conditions. Additionally, you may offer support to vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. This diverse clientele requires empathy, strong communication skills, and a nonjudgmental approach to therapy.
