Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ psychosocial needs, focusing on their emotional and social well-being to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored care strategies in partnership with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that services align with best practices in addiction recovery and mental health.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, offering emotional support and practical coping strategies to help clients manage their recovery process.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, connecting them with essential resources and services within the community to facilitate holistic support.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting care plans as needed to align with their evolving needs and goals.

• Facilitate family sessions to improve communication and tackle interpersonal issues that may impact the client’s recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Stay informed about current trends and regulations within the social work and addiction fields to contribute to the quality enhancement of practices in our center.

• Participate in staff training and development sessions to continually enhance your skills and knowledge base.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults seeking detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. Clients often face complex life challenges, including mental health issues, trauma, and social isolation. Your empathetic, person-centered approach will be crucial in helping clients regain control of their lives, rebuilding their resilience, and fostering a support network that promotes long-term recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

• At least two years of clinical experience in social work, preferably in a mental health or addiction recovery setting.

• Solid understanding of the principles of social work, particularly regarding substance use treatment and geriatric issues.

• Proven counseling and communication skills, with the ability to foster genuine relationships with clients and families.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
