Office Manager (Public Accounting) – Rochester, NY | $80–85K + Bonus

Hannah Savage with Robert Half is working with a highly respected, mid-sized public accounting firm in the Rochester area who is looking to bring on an Office Manager to support daily operations and partner-level coordination. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
  • Manage client billing and assist with occasional collections
  • Coordinate scheduling across multiple teams and partners
  • Support partners with calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Distribute financial statements (pre-prepared)
  • Handle e-filing of 1099s
  • Draft professional client correspondence
  • Supervise a small administrative team

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $80,000 – $85,000

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Fully onsite
  • Flexible start time
  • 40 hours/week outside of busy season
  • Busy season (mid-Jan through mid-April): extended hours + Saturdays

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of office management or senior administrative experience
  • Prior experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with 1099s, financial reports, or tax processes is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Tech-savvy with strong attention to detail (formatting, documentation, etc.)
  • Ability to work with multiple personalities in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in long-term growth and stability
