Office Manager (Public Accounting) – Rochester, NY | $80–85K + Bonus
Hannah Savage with Robert Half is working with a highly respected, mid-sized public accounting firm in the Rochester area who is looking to bring on an Office Manager to support daily operations and partner-level coordination. What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
- Manage client billing and assist with occasional collections
- Coordinate scheduling across multiple teams and partners
- Support partners with calendar management and meeting coordination
- Distribute financial statements (pre-prepared)
- Handle e-filing of 1099s
- Draft professional client correspondence
- Supervise a small administrative team
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 – $85,000

Schedule & Work Environment
- Fully onsite
- Flexible start time
- 40 hours/week outside of busy season

What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of office management or senior administrative experience
- Prior experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with 1099s, financial reports, or tax processes is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Tech-savvy with strong attention to detail (formatting, documentation, etc.)
- Ability to work with multiple personalities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in long-term growth and stability
