Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to better understand clients' unique mental health struggles, developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Desert Trauma Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing various mental health issues, from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid state license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A minimum of a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology.

• Ability to establish a strong therapeutic rapport through excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and trusting environment for clients.

• Exhibit empathy and a non-judgmental attitude, demonstrating a compassion-centered approach to therapy.
