Payroll AdministratorSalary: $80,000Why This Opportunity Stands Out:Play a critical role supporting a respected NYC nonprofit serving over 2,000 individuals and familiesGain deep ownership of payroll operations in a complex, multi-site environmentPartner closely with Payroll leadership, HR, and Finance for broad organizational exposureWork with modern payroll technology (Paycom) and advanced Excel reportingStable, long-term role with strong process rigor and compliance standardsOpportunity to influence SOPs, audits, and system improvementsHybrid or onsite flexibility based on departmental needsMeaningful work where accuracy directly supports frontline servicesThe company offers an employer-funded profit-sharing pension planKey Responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator:Review, validate, and process employee timecards and payroll edits in PaycomHandle historical adjustments, special payments, and payroll correctionsMaintain garnishments, deductions, and payroll compliance recordsAudit payroll data for accuracy, controls, and regulatory complianceSupport reporting, audits, reconciliations, and year-end payroll activitiesServe as payroll backup and support processing during peak cyclesQualifications for the Payroll Administrator:4+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience, ideally with knowledge working with electronic timesheetsPaycom (or similar payroll system) and Excel proficiencySolid knowledge of payroll compliance and regulationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
