Position: Registered Sonographer – Ultrasound (Mon‑Thurs) – day/evening (4‑10). Responsibilities Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures and provide quality care to patients. Assess patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines. Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System). Train students and staff as assigned. Create a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families. Assess data reflective of the patient status and interpret information required to identify each patient’s needs and provide care per applicable policy and procedures. Interact with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required. Experience preferred but not required; OB and pediatric experience is helpful. Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
