Our team consists of highly trained professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all of whom are dedicated to delivering high-quality care adjusted to the unique needs of our patients.Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will work onsite in our modern outpatient office, utilizing advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies. The practice boasts a welcoming environment where teamwork thrives, allowing you to gain insights and learning from fellow professionals while maintaining a clear focus on patient-centric care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations to identify and address patients' individual goals and requirements.Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to provide thorough and personalized care.Employ your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to implement effective treatment strategies aimed at improving patient mobility.Design and develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each patient's needs.Create customized fitness and wellness programs to facilitate recovery and promote long-term health.Deliver high-quality care that focuses on reducing dependency on medications and exploring non-surgical options.Motivate and encourage patients, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere to enhance their treatment experience.Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.Regularly assess treatment outcomes, monitor patient progress, and maintain thorough documentation of care services provided.Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and conditions. These may include post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Given Miami's vibrant population, you will encounter a diverse range of clients with differing cultural backgrounds and functional goals, which will require you to tailor your approach to meet their specific needs and preferences.QualificationsPossess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.Hold an active Florida state license for physical therapy, ensuring compliance with state regulations.Avoid any history of board or disciplinary actions; maintain a pristine professional record.Demonstrate strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness.Ability to develop and implement evidence-based exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
