Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract occupational therapy position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in K-12 settings for the 2026-2027 school year, with orientation scheduled from August 12th to August 14th. The caseload and grade levels will be determined, allowing for a dynamic and engaging experience onsite throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois OT or COTA license required (documentation must be submitted with your application)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of best practices in educational occupational therapy for K-12 students
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing caseload needs
• Commitment to supporting students with special needs and fostering their success in school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as specified in student IEPs and in line with school guidelines
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse student populations
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, school psychologists, and related service providers
• Document progress and maintain up-to-date student records
• Support families and school staff through training, resources, and consultation
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities
