Work Environment\n

This position is based in a community health clinic, offering a supportive and collaborative remote work environment. You will engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other mental health professionals. Operating hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekends. Flexibility for on-call availability is also expected as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students with special needs, ensuring thorough understanding of their individual challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on mental health improvement, emotional well-being, and successful integration into the school community.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to ASD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with educators and a team of specialists to provide holistic care, ensuring all aspects of the student’s well-being are addressed.

• Respond to mental health emergencies with crisis intervention, providing immediate support and guidance.
\n
• Educate students and families on mental health conditions and available resources, enhancing awareness and fostering communication.
\n
• Maintain diligent documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and protection for both clients and the organization.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to discuss ongoing cases and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.

• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines to ensure adherence to best practices.

This role focuses on a diverse client population, including students with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral issues, and ADHD. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of New York.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in conducting assessments, diagnosing, and formulating clear treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse team of professionals and interactions with students and families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
