Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for increased flexibility and the ability to focus on patient care without the constraints of a traditional office setting. However, counselors will also have the opportunity to engage in in-person consultations at our outpatient office as necessary. The working hours are based on appointment schedules, providing the opportunity to work both full-time and part-time. As part of an integrated care team, you will collaborate closely with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities as a Licensed Professional Counselor will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient intakes that encompass both diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, following which you will recommend treatment plans to the primary care providers.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for patients in crisis or those requesting mental health services.
\n
• Actively collaborating within the primary care team to identify and manage mental health and psychosocial issues that patients may face.
\n
• Monitoring the progress of patients through follow-up assessments and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Developing individualized relapse prevention strategies to assist patients in sustaining their mental health.
\n
• Documenting clinical findings and patient progress meticulously to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

• Educating patients on self-management skills and promoting healthy lifestyle changes that contribute to overall patient well-being.

• Providing consultation to clinic management and contributing to program evaluation and outcome measurement related to behavioral health services.

• Assisting in coordinating care with external healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless treatment experience for patients.

Your primary client focus will involve working with a diverse range of patients from various backgrounds, facing challenges related to mental health, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic illness. Qualifications\n

To qualify for the LPC position at Trinity Health Behavioral Center, candidates must possess the following:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

• Proven ability to assess individual needs and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Capacity to create supportive relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
