As we continue expanding our presence in the U.S. market, we are seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Manager with established industry knowledge and relationships.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our dealer network, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening KE USA's market position.

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of direct professional experience in the exterior sunshading industry, specifically involving retractable awnings, exterior screens, and bioclimatic pergolas.

We are looking for an individual who understands the products, the market, the distribution channels, and the technical requirements of the industry and can translate that knowledge into measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Growth

• Identify, recruit, and develop new dealers, distributors, and strategic business partners.
• Expand market penetration across assigned territories and product categories.
• Develop and execute territory-specific business development strategies.
• Identify new opportunities in residential, commercial, architectural, and outdoor living markets.
• Achieve established revenue, margin, and new-account acquisition targets.
• Build a sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain accurate CRM reporting.

Dealer Network Development

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers, installers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
• Evaluate prospective dealers based on market potential, technical capabilities, and alignment with KE USA's premium market positioning.
• Support dealer onboarding, product training, and ongoing business development.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and market share through existing and new distribution channels.

Technical & Product Expertise

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of retractable awnings, exterior screens, and bioclimatic pergolas.
• Understand product applications, installation requirements, motorization, controls, and technical limitations.
• Provide product presentations, technical guidance, and application support to customers and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to develop appropriate solutions.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

• Monitor competitors, pricing, market trends, and emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities for product expansion and competitive differentiation.
• Represent KE USA at industry trade shows, dealer events, and professional networking functions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of proven business development or sales experience specifically in exterior sunshading systems.
• Demonstrated experience with retractable awnings, exterior screens, and bioclimatic pergolas is mandatory.
• Established understanding of the U.S. exterior sunshading market, dealer networks, and distribution channels.
• Strong technical understanding of product configurations, applications, installation practices, and motorization systems.
• Proven ability to develop new accounts, build long-term customer relationships, and achieve sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and independence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business applications.
