Work Environment

The work setting for this role is fully onsite within our rehabilitation facility. Our clinic supports a bright and welcoming atmosphere, promoting a spirit of teamwork and innovation. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while engaging with patients in a hands-on manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the goals and needs of each patient to create comprehensive and effective treatment plans.
• Manage a patient load focusing on individualized care, ensuring one-on-one treatment sessions to maximize patient attention and progress.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to address specific orthopedic concerns and enhance patient mobility.
• Promote non-invasive alternatives to medication and surgery, emphasizing holistic care strategies tailored to each patient.
• Engage in the development of innovative fitness and wellness programs that align with patients' unique health objectives.
• Provide continuous motivation and support to patients during their treatment, utilizing encouraging feedback and tracking progress accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, effectively communicating findings and discussing patient management strategies to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Maintain and update patient documentation promptly using EMR software, such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clientele will consist of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as individuals seeking to enhance their physical fitness and wellness. By focusing on a patient-centered approach, you will have the freedom to design customized care pathways that not only address immediate physical challenges but also build long-term resilience and health.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No prior disciplinary actions or complaints against your professional license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in creating dynamic exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, and efficient utilization of these technologies in daily practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and complex cases will be seen as an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
