Key Responsibilities\n

• Effectively manage crises during therapy sessions, providing immediate support and intervention as needed. Collaborate with milieu staff and treatment teams to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

• Ensure that all clinical documentation is completed promptly at the time of service, maintaining accurate and thorough records for each client’s treatment journey.
\n
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with clients and their families. Assess clients for risk factors, including suicidality and other potential dangers, to ensure safety and suitable intervention strategies.

• Conduct thorough admission assessments with professionalism, making new clients feel welcome and informed about the treatment process. Participate actively in clinical outreach to promote our programs.

• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss ongoing goals and patient progress, offering clinical support as necessary to other team members.
\n
• Complete utilization reviews for insurance providers, submitting required clinical information to secure authorizations for services.
\n
• Maintain open lines of communication with clients’ families, returning all calls and emails promptly during business hours.
\n
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth transitions during the admission and discharge processes, confirming upcoming appointments with clients and their families.

• Administer discharge planning as soon as a client is admitted, ensuring they leave with a clear understanding of their coping strategies, transition plans, and community resources.

Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and often face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An active independent license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Ability to manage a substantial caseload efficiently while interfacing seamlessly with larger healthcare providers and support staff.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and adeptness in electronic communications, including email.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
