Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop, implement, and review customized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to enhance treatment strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development to foster ongoing growth.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work towards reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals suffering from various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our patient population is diverse and includes individuals from different backgrounds including refugees, homeless individuals, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n
